With 6,000 acres of forested mountain terrain, Suncadia offers something to do year-round. But several times throughout the year, the resort puts on special events that make the 80 mile drive from downtown Seattle even more worthwhile.

Here’s a quick look at some of their most popular events.

5. Wellness Month (May 2017)

Wellness events are scattered throughout the month, and include a Mommy-and-Me Tea Party 5k, a “barnyard warrior” class involving a variety of obstacles to test your mettle, aqua arobics, zumba, a Wellness Weekend featuring KaisaFit, and more.

4. Multisport Summer Festival (August 11-13, 2017)

A weekend, of running and biking in a breathtaking setting, the Suncadia Multisport Summer Festival is a destination race getaway with events for runners, walkers, cyclists and kids. In between athletic pursuits, you can check out the Summer Brewfest highlighting local breweries featuring some of the Northwest’s best beers.

3. Barnyard BBQ at Nelson Farm (June – September 2017)

Besides awesome food of the barbequed variety, the event offers fresh produce from Hay Creek Garden, live music, an activity area, and a goodie bag for each child. And if you visit the Nelson Farm before the BBQ starts, you can experience the Nelson Farm Market.

2. Real Estate Expo (April 2017)

Learn everything you’ve ever wanted to know about owning and building in Suncadia. Meet with featured Builders, architects & designers, mortgage and specialists, and get information about club membership, Suncadia HOA and design review, and vacation property management.

1. Harvest Festival (October 2017)

Suncadia’s biggest event of the year is the annual Harvest Festival, which offers two weekends of seasonal events and activities to celebrate the arrival of fall. Held at Suncadia’s Historic Nelson Farm, the event includes Peewee Rodeo, 1,000 Bale Straw Maze, Merchant Market, 5th Annual Big Dirty Run, Pumpkin Patch, Pony Rides, Live Music, Food Trucks and Beer Garden, Wagon Rides, Arts & Crafts, Brewmaster and CiderMaker Dinners, Carnival Games, Wine Tasting, and more!
